Thank you

How often do we say thank you?  How often is it just a response to something given with no gratitude in the heart? It is when spoken from the heart that it is sincere. Heart speaks to heart and the message goes to the heart, we say it touches us. To be touched by two words that convey a wonderful feeling.

At this time of year feelings fly, like an infection going from person to person but the infection is good, it warms the heart. People need to hear good things, warm and lovely thoughts. People need to hear thank you.

Thank you for being you, for all the silly stupid things you do for all the sensible practical advise you give, for all the love you lavish on others because you care.

Thank you for being there when I needed you. For answering that phone at night and helping me when I know you were ready for bed. For directing me to the right person when I didn't know where to turn. Thank you.

Thank you for the little things you do everyday that make life so special.

We get weary when no one says thank you. We feel unappreciated and lonely. If this is how you feel right now may these words be your thank you.
I appreciate and thank you for looking at this blog.
